open data

In order to share the results of the project with the international scientific community, all the datasets (orthophotos, DSMs, other topographic and architectural information) will soon be published on Zenodo, an open-access repository developed under the European OpenAIRE program and operated by CERN.

This platform allows us to stored Hatra datasets safely for the future in CERN’s Data Centre for as long as CERN exists, to ensure that everyone can join in Open Science, to make them citable and trackable (every upload is assigned a Digital Object Identifier, DOI), to share data with the scientific community.

The same approach had been followed for the dissemination of the results of the Nineveh project (2018-20):  Orthophotos, DSMs and interpretation files of the remote sensing assessment of archaeological damage and destruction at Nineveh, Iraq, during the ISIS occupation
